Lead 2D Artist

As Lead 2D Artist at Black Kite, you'll deliver creative excellence from project pitch to completion.  You'll lead teams of 2D artists on high-end VFX projects for commercials, TV, and film, collaborating with VFX Supervisors and Producers.  Responsibilities include developing creative and technical solutions, mentoring junior artists, client interaction, on-set VFX supervision (shooting supervision), and contributing to pipeline improvements.  You'll ensure projects are visually stunning, delivered on time and within budget, and actively represent Black Kite at industry events.  A deep understanding of the VFX pipeline, Nuke and Flame experience, and strong leadership skills are essential.

Using your deep working knowledge of the VFX pipeline, you will provide technical and creative leadership to the team working across the 2D pipeline, on a broad range of high end VFX projects.  You will collaborate with the VFX Supervisors and Producers to deliver outstanding VFX work on time and on budget.  </p><p>We are committed to supporting you and your ongoing career development. <li>Collaborate with VFX Supervisors to develop and implement creative and technical solutions for the 2D requirements across a range of VFX projects. </li>
<li>Create OUTSTANDING creative work </li>
<li>Lead teams of 2D artists to success across a wide range of high end VFX projects. </li>
<li>Work with the Production team to pitch for and win projects whilst seeking opportunities to develop client relationships. </li>
<li>Shoot Supervision, ensuring that we capture all data that is required whilst providing an excellent experience for our clients. </li>
<li>Support and mentor our creative talent. </li>
<li>Deliver client feedback clearly and constructively to your team. </li>
<li>Deliver projects that look visually outstanding on time and on budget. </li>
<li>Contribute to discussions relating to the 2D pipeline and creative workflows. </li>
<li>Inspire a culture of creative innovation. </li>
