Senior Character Artist

UX/UI Designer (Regular/Senior)

Fool's Theory, in collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED, seeks a Senior Character Artist to create high-quality, game-ready character assets for Unreal Engine 5.  Responsibilities include high and low-poly modeling, UV mapping, baking, texturing, and implementing assets in the engine.  The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, and a 3D modeling package (Blender/Maya/Modo).  Experience on AA or AAA titles and a strong understanding of anatomy, PBR, and low-poly optimization are crucial.  The role involves independent work planning, reference searching, and effective teamwork.  The position offers flexible working hours, remote options (within a specific timezone), long-term contracts, and various benefits.

 We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game <a target="_blank" href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/471010/Seven_Enhanced_Edition/">Seven: The Days Long Gone</a> and <a target="_blank" href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/1684350/The_Thaumaturge/">The Thaumaturge.</a> We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on a project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED. &nbsp;<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul>
<li>Creating high quality &amp; game ready character assets (High Poly, Low Poly, UV, baking, texturing).</li>
<li>Implementing created assets into Unreal Engine 5.</li>
<li>Performing iterative work on created assets/characters, in order to improve their quality.</li>
</ul><h2>Requirements</h2><ul>
<li>Ability to create neat character models consistent with the artistic vision and design quality.</li>
<li>Very good knowledge of Zbrush.</li>
<li>Very good knowledge of Marvelous Designer.</li>
<li>Very good knowledge of PBR technology and software (for example Substance Painter).</li>
<li>Previous experience working on an AA or AAA title.</li>
<li>Very good knowledge of Blender/Maya/Modo etc.</li>
<li>Ability to create optimal low poly meshes suited for animation.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.</li>
<li>Very good knowledge of anatomy.</li>
<li>Ability to independently plan your own work on the created assets, searching for references.</li>
<li>Good communication skills and willingness to work in a group.</li>
<li>Ability to solve problems.</li>
<li>Fluent English.</li>
