Payroll Executive

Senior Generalist (Environments)

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing and processing payroll, maintaining employee records, handling leave and attendance, and ensuring statutory compliance. This includes timely filing of ESIC, PF contributions, TDS planning, and Professional Tax (PT) for employees. The role involves using advanced Excel skills for payroll calculations, analysis, and reporting, as well as posting payroll entries in Tally and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tally, Zoho, and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of imports is a plus.</span></p><p style="text-align:start;"><strong><span style="color: #121317">Key Responsibilities</span></strong><span style="color: #121317">:</span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">Payroll Management:</span></strong></p><ul><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Manage and process payrolls on time using Zoho People and Payroll software.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Address payroll-related queries from employees and provide timely solutions.</span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">Employee Records Management:</span></strong></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Maintain and update employee information in Zoho People.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Track attendance, leave, and time management through the HR system.</span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">Leave &amp; Attendance Management:</span></strong><span style="color: #121317"> </span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Handle leave and attendance records accurately and ensure they are reflected correctly in payroll calculations.</span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">Statutory Compliance:</span></strong></p></li><li><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">ESIC &amp; PF Filing:</span></strong><span style="color: #121317"> Ensure timely and accurate filing of ESIC and PF contributions as per statutory regulations.</span></p></li><li><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">TDS Planning for Employees:</span></strong><span style="color: #121317"> Assist in planning and computing employee TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) to ensure proper tax deductions.</span></p></li><li><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">PT Filing:</span></strong><span style="color: #121317"> Manage and ensure proper filing of Professional Tax (PT) for employees.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Prepare and submit relevant forms and returns as per government norms.</span></p></li><li><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">Excel &amp; Data Handling:</span></strong></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Use advanced Excel skills for payroll calculation, analysis, and reporting.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Create and maintain payroll templates, databases, and reports for financial audits.</span></p><p><strong><span style="color: #121317">Tally Integration:</span></strong></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Post payroll entries in Tally, ensuring accurate recording of salary, tax, and other deductions.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="color: #121317">Assist in reconciling payroll accounts with financial statements.</span></p></li></ul>
