Lead Publishing Producer

As Lead Publishing Producer, you will manage the Production team and provide mentoring. You will oversee key projects from concept through post-release, managing all SKUs, publishing planning & budget, milestone reviews, and submissions. You will be the main point of contact for stakeholders, hire team members, manage existing team members and research & develop new business. You will also be responsible for managing partner relations.

IMPORTANT – Please note this is an on-site position for our office in Hoogvliet – Rotterdam (NL)‍Responsibilities<ul role="list"><li>Managing the publishing team as Lead Publishing Producer</li><li>Overseeing and reporting on the entire SOEDESCO portfolio and production team, including all relevant resources.</li><li>Managing several internally and externally developed projects in the SOEDESCO portfolio from concept through post-release. You will do this for all SKUs, including overseeing the publishing planning &amp; budget to deliver on time, on budget and to spec, performing milestone reviews, providing publishing services, and taking care of submission to platform holders.</li><li>Being the main point of contact for all relevant stakeholders for these projects, carrying responsibility for ensuring continuous alignment.</li><li>Hiring and onboarding of new team members and interns.</li><li>Managing, mentoring, supporting, and reporting on current team members.</li><li>Supporting senior management with new business research &amp; development (i.e. new titles, platforms, territories, services, et cetera).</li><li>Collaborating with our legal team for contract negotiations, improving templates, and performing financial and legal reviews.</li><li>Researching &amp; developing new, and maintaining &amp; optimizing existing, production &amp; publishing procedures.</li><li>Managing partner relations (i.e. developers, platform holders, service providers, et cetera)</li></ul><ul role="list"> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</ul><ul role="list"> </ul>What experience are we lookingfor?<ul role="list"> <li>5+ years of previous organizational / project management experience in the game development industry.</li> <li>2+ years of experience in a lead function</li> <li>Advanced understanding of game production pipeline and budgets.</li> <li>Advanced understanding of the publishing platform holder backends of Steam, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Microsoft</li> <li>Knowledge of, and comfort dealing with industry standard legal documentation.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
