Job Description

This is a paid 10-week summer internship program for rising seniors or juniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical disciplines. Interns will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge, engage in projects that directly affect the business, interact with senior leaders, and network with employees and other interns. The program focuses on Guardian's enterprise cloud offerings, large-scale infrastructure, application deployment, and best practices in observability, security, reliability, and scalability.
Must have:
  • A rising senior (graduation date of December 2026- May 2027) or rising junior (graduation date of December 2027-June 2028)
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Willingness to collaborate with a broad range of subject matter experts across the organization
  • Curiosity and the ability to research/drill down into complex technical problems and arrive at potential solutions
  • Passion for learning and innovation
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Available for the full program dates of the internship program (May 28, 2026 - August 7, 2026)

Job Details

Our 2026 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.

Internship Dates:

The internship program will run from Thursday, May 28, 2026 - Friday, August 7, 2026.

We review applications on a rolling basis, and we encourage you to apply as soon as you are ready. The application window will close on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:59PM ET or when role(s) have been filled, whichever comes first.

You are:

  • A rising senior (graduation date of December 2026- May 2027) or rising junior (graduation date of December 2027-June 2028) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Location (housing is not provided):

  • Holmdel, NJ
  • Bethlehem, PA

You have:

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts and principles
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java or Infrastructure as Code languages
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Willingness to collaborate with a broad range of subject matter experts across the organization
  • Curiosity and the ability to research/drill down into complex technical problems and arrive at potential solutions
  • Passion for learning and innovation

You will:

  • Learn about Guardian's enterprise cloud offerings and solutions that power our business capabilities
  • Get exposure to strategies around delivering large scale infrastructure needs across an enterprise
  • Get hands on experience with deploying applications and infrastructure using enterprise grade Software Delivery platforms
  • Get necessary exposure to the necessary building blocks on your journey to becoming a full stack developer
  • Learn about best practices in areas such as observability, security, reliability, and scalability
  • Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
  • Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
  • Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business
  • Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information
  • Be a self-starter – someone who enjoys “rolling up their sleeves and getting things done”, has high energy, strong work ethic, displays the ability to work independently, and is creative

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
  • You must be available for the full program dates of the internship program.

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $35.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
