Job Description

Virtuos is seeking a 3D Environment Artist to create high-quality hard-surface 3D models (weapons, vehicles, machinery, props) in both realistic and stylized designs. Responsibilities include collaborating with art directors, creating textures using PBR techniques, and basic ZBrush sculpting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in hard-surface modeling, proficiency in 3ds Max/Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter, and strong visual/spatial skills. The role involves working on AAA projects and requires strong teamwork, communication, and time management abilities. Responsibilities

  • 制作高质量的3D硬表面模型,包括但不限于武器、车辆、机械及其他道具。
  • 精通写实风格与风格化设计,并能够根据项目需求灵活调整。
  • 与美术总监及团队成员紧密合作,确保设计作品符合游戏的整体视觉风格和玩法需求。
  • 负责纹理创作,熟悉并具有基于物理的渲染(PBR)技术的应用经验。
  • 使用Zbrush进行硬表面模型的简单雕刻工作。

Qualifications

  • 拥有艺术、设计或相关领域的大专及以上学历。
  • 至少1年的3D硬表面建模经验,具备游戏行业背景者优先。
  • 精通3ds Max或Maya等3D建模软件。
  • 熟练使用Zbrush软件。
  • 熟练使用Substance Painter等纹理制作软件。
  • 能够在写实风格和风格化设计之间灵活切换。
  • 具备出色的视觉和空间感知能力,注重细节。
  • 具有良好的团队合作精神和沟通技巧。
  • 能够在项目周期内有效管理时间,保持工作质量和进度。

加分项:

  • 具有3A主机/PC游戏项目的工作经验。
  • 具有动画制作经验。
  • 熟悉游戏引擎(如Unreal Engine或Unity)的实际应用。

About Our Team
The award-winning Virtuos Shanghai studio was founded in late 2004, the first of six game development studios located internationally and the former headquarters of the group before its relocation to Singapore in 2018.
Staffed by a multicultural group of talents, the studio specializes in providing full-stack game development and co-development services, including technical support for art and engineering.
