This is an amazing opportunity to join our Academy as an Academy Build Pipeline Engineer on a six-month contract. The role involves maintaining and improving automated build pipelines for multiple game projects, monitoring daily builds, troubleshooting failures, and collaborating with various teams. You will write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and manage build environments. This role offers mentorship, training, and real-world experience in a leading VR studio, fostering an inclusive environment for individuals looking to break into the industry.
Must Have:
  • Assist in maintaining and improving automated build pipelines for multiple game projects.
  • Monitor daily builds and troubleshoot failures or regressions.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT to ensure smooth integration and deployment workflows.
  • Write and maintain scripts for automation tasks using languages such as: Python, Bash, or PowerShell among others.
  • Build creative solutions on the fly for new problems as they appear.
  • Help manage build environments and virtual machines.
  • Has less than 6 months of industry experience.
  • Has left education within the last 2 years.
  • Is eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
  • Has education or equivalent learning relevant to code.

We have an amazing opportunity to join our Academy as an Academy Build Pipeline Engineer. This opportunity provides a chance to work closely with some of the studio’s core systems & technologies, supporting multiple games in development.

This role is offered as a six-month contract with a salary of £25,000 per annum.

  • Has education or equivalent learning relevant to code
