Academy Build Pipeline Engineer

We have an amazing opportunity to join our Academy as an Academy Build Pipeline Engineer. This opportunity provides a chance to work closely with some of the studio’s core systems & technologies, supporting multiple games in development.

This role is offered as a six-month contract with a salary of £25,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and improving automated build pipelines for multiple game projects.
• Monitor daily builds and troubleshoot failures or regressions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT to ensure smooth integration and deployment workflows.
• Write and maintain scripts for automation tasks using languages such as: Python, Bash, or PowerShell among others.
• Build creative solutions on the fly for new problems as they appear.
• Help manage build environments and virtual machines.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has less than 6 months of industry experience
• Has left education within the last 2 years
• Is eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship
• Has education or equivalent learning relevant to code
• Has a natural interest in solving problems
• Shows a willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow
• Brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset
