The role involves leading the monthly close and reporting cycle, overseeing statutory filings, managing intercompany transactions, supporting consolidated group financials, and liaising with auditors and stakeholders. The candidate will develop and document accounting policies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position requires a proactive and hands-on approach within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge of Dutch GAAP is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central)
Must Have:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 8 years of experience in accounting or financial control
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS is a plus
  • Experience with transfer pricing and group consolidation
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Accounting Manager who will report directly to the Group Controller. You’ll take ownership of core financial accounting processes and play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistency in financial reporting across the group.

This role will have a particular focus on:

  • Accounting & statutory 
  • Transfer pricing 
  • Group reporting & monthly consolidation

While the role can be based anywhere in our European offices, knowledge of Dutch statutory requirements and/or IFRS is strongly preferred.

  • Lead the monthly close and reporting cycle, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee statutory filings and compliance in coordination with local teams and advisors
  • Manage intercompany transactions and ensure transfer pricing policies are correctly implemented and documented
  • Support the preparation of consolidated group financials
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and document accounting policies, controls, and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, FP&A, and legal

Core Requirements

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting or financial control, preferably in an international setting and big-4 experience
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP is a plus
  • Experience with transfer pricing and group consolidation
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) and strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
