Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of customer experience solutions using AEP. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining architecture, data strategies, and technical roadmaps to enable personalized, data-driven customer journeys.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Phoenix, AZ is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance AEP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Lead AEP implementation projects including Real-Time CDP, Customer Journey Analytics, and Adobe Experience Edge.
- Integrate AEP with Adobe Marketing Cloud (Campaign, Target, Analytics, etc.) and external systems such as CRMs, DMPs, and data lakes.
- Define and implement data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution consultants, developers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end AEP solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and enterprise security standards.
- Create architectural documentation, solution blueprints, and technical design specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to AEP developers and data engineers.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing platforms with at least 3+ years working specifically with Adobe Experience Platform.
- Deep expertise in AEP components: Real-Time Customer Profile, Identity Graph, Data Ingestion, Segment Builder, Activation, etc.
- Strong experience with Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL, and identity resolution within customer data platforms.
- Proficiency in working with JSON, XDM schema, REST APIs, and tag management systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Adobe Certified Expert – AEP Architect (or relevant AEP certification)
- Prior experience in implementing AEP in a B2C or B2B enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA and data governance best practices.
