Job Description
SOFTSWISS is seeking a Middle AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain AI-powered automation solutions. This role involves replicating and streamlining complex back-office tasks across internal systems and third-party platforms, aiming to drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and deploying automation bots, integrating them with various tools via APIs, and developing browser-based automations to mimic human actions.
Must have:
- Design, build, and deploy automation bots and workflows to replicate back-office tasks.
- Integrate AI bots with internal backend systems, Jira, Customer.io, Intercom, and other tools via APIs.
- Develop browser-based automations that open browser windows, interact with site elements, and replicate human actions.
- Collaborate with AI teams to combine multiple AI models and services into cohesive automation solutions.
- Stay updated on AI trends, tools, and frameworks to develop innovative in-house AI-driven automation.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing automation scripts and bot frameworks.
- Document automation processes and ensure robust error handling and monitoring.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand task workflows and translate them into automated solutions.
- 3 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or Node.js for developing automation scripts and APIs.
- Experience with API integrations and automation platforms.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, natural language processing, and bot frameworks.
- Ability to architect scalable automation solutions that integrate multiple AI services and backend systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for AI trends, emerging technologies, and automation best practices.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of common back-office tools such as Jira, Customer.io, and Intercom.
- Experience with conversational AI or chatbot development.
- Experience creating browser-based automations, including opening browser windows, interacting with site elements, and replicating human actions (e.g., using Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium).
- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless architectures.
- Understanding of data privacy and security considerations in automation.
