About the Team:

The AI Creative Studio is a new and fast-evolving team within CookUnity’s Creative Department, focused on reimagining how we create content by combining human creativity with the power of AI. We work at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and design, producing high-performing creative at scale for both brand and performance channels.

As part of this team, you’ll collaborate with copywriters, designers, strategists, and AI tools to bring ideas to life faster, smarter, and more efficiently than ever before. We experiment, iterate, and move quickly, all while maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.

The Role:

CookUnity is looking for a Video Editor with experience using AI tools to join our Creative team — specifically, as part of the AI Creative Studio. This individual should be highly skilled in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and will play a key role in shaping how we integrate AI into our creative workflows, using cutting-edge tools to generate image and video assets that support both performance and brand storytelling.

You’ll work primarily on short-form video content, with occasional long-form needs, helping us bring compelling creative concepts to life across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics, with strong storytelling abilities and a passion for experimenting with new tools and formats.

This role requires a creative thinker who is agile, organized, and thrives in the fast-paced environment of a startup. CookUnity has a rapidly growing Creative Department that serves both Brand and Performance channels. While you may collaborate with both, you will primarily work with members of the performance creative team.

Responsibilities:

• Creative ideation, production, and editing of video content for CookUnity across all channels (paid and organic social media, website, in-app, etc.)
• Utilize AI tools to assist in the creation of images and video content as part of our AI Creative Studio workflows
• Collaborate with Performance Creative Strategy to determine content direction and execution
• Implement creative feedback from stakeholders across teams
• Apply strong storytelling and visual narrative to every project
• Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and technical specifications
• Maintain organized, efficient editing workflows across multiple projects
• Identify and implement improvements in the video production process
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video marketing, social media, and AI creative tools

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in video editing
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and related software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve)
• Experience using AI tools for image and/or video generation
• Strong storytelling abilities with a clear creative point of view
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Agile, fast editor who can manage multiple versions and deadlines
• Knowledge of video formats, aspect ratios, and encoding for multiple platforms
• Experience creating content for social media (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.)
• Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Interest or experience in video production (shooting)
• Experience working on performance creative and/or paid advertising
• Familiarity with high-volume content production and creative testing
