Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate AI Developer to join our dynamic team in shaping the future of VFX through innovative AI solutions. The AI Developer will play a crucial role in driving our AI strategy forward by designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions that elevate our capabilities and redefine industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for AI integration.
- Design and develop AI models, algorithms, and applications to address specific challenges in the VFX pipeline.
- Implement and optimize machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques for VFX applications.
- Lead research and development efforts to explore emerging AI technologies and trends in the VFX industry.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders on AI-related matters, including feasibility, scalability, and impact.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools and frameworks to enhance our production workflows and capabilities.
- Stay updated on advancements in AI research and best practices, and actively contribute to the knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing AI solutions in a production environment.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with VFX production pipelines and software tools (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Previous experience in the entertainment industry or a related field.
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in relevant conferences or journals.
