AI Programmer (Dungeons & Dragons)

Gameloft Montreal is seeking a passionate AI Programmer for an innovative Dungeons & Dragons® PC/Console project. This role involves designing and implementing AI systems for in-game characters, including pathfinding and decision-making, for a game blending Action-RPG, Survival, and life-simulation elements. The successful candidate will write efficient C# code, optimize AI systems, debug issues, and contribute to AI tool development, collaborating closely with the Montreal studio.

Must Have

• Design and implement AI systems for in-game characters, including pathfinding, decision-making, and tactical behaviors
• Collaborate with designers and other programmers to integrate AI into gameplay mechanics
• Write efficient and maintainable code in C#
• Continuously optimize and refine AI systems for performance and quality
• Debug and troubleshoot AI-related issues
• Contribute to the development of tools for AI creation and testing
• Stay current with the latest developments and trends in AI within the gaming industry

The game is being developed by Gameloft Montreal, so you will collaborate mainly with this studio. Fluent English is required to communicate effectively with the team.
