Apple is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead innovative Search initiatives for Siri Search and Apple products. This role involves developing new capabilities to enhance how users search on devices and interact with their surroundings. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on launching user-friendly experiences for a vast customer base, managing project timelines, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate will drive consensus across diverse teams, maintain project momentum, and provide clear communication to executive leadership.

Must have:

4+ years in driving large-scale consumer software programs
Experience bringing consumer products from concept to completion
Deep understanding of consumer-facing software development
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good to have:

Machine learning experience
Experience with search, computer vision, or NLP

- Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status. Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant. Drive alignment across the organization and between teams - Drive consensus across multiple groups with varying opinions & needs. Influence entire teams around a common purpose and drive conference on the plan of execution - Proactively identify and manage risks, close gaps with the ability to switch gears on projects in an agile manner - Keep teams on critical path with efforts to minimize distractions - Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and one-off reviews as needed to executive team

4+ years of experience in driving large scale programs building consuming facing software products (machine learning a plus but not required)
Demonstrated ability bringing a consumer facing software product from concept to completion, ideally working on machine-learning features and/or sophisticated backend and front-end systems
Deep understanding of software development for consumer user facing products and services, and how analytics and evaluation data can help improve those products
Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
Strong desire to learn, skilled in problem solving, and the ability to make sophisticated trade-offs
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and ability to influence partners

Prior program management or engineering experience in search, computer vision, and/or natural language understanding

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $213,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
