Job Description

The Release Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation code for build and deployment pipelines, utilizing CI/CD tools. They will monitor builds for failures and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Continuous improvement of release management practices is crucial, along with participation in code reviews for quality and performance. This role involves planning, scheduling, and executing software releases across various environments, ensuring adherence to SLAs for releases. The engineer will work with development, testing, and production environments.
Must have:
  • Develop automation code for build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
  • Monitor builds and collaborate to resolve issues promptly.
  • Plan, schedule, and participate in software releases.

Duties associated with this position include: * Develop efficient, and maintainable automation code for build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools * Monitor builds for failures and work with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly. * Continuously evaluate and improve release management practices. * Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices * Plan, schedule, and participate in software releases across development, testing, and production environments. * Consistently delivering in line with the defined SLAs for the releases.
