Job Description

The Alteryx Developer role involves leading the setup, configuration, and management of Alteryx Server. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and design workflows, setting up user authentication and monitoring, and coordinating with other IT teams. The role also entails developing, testing, and deploying Alteryx workflows, providing training and support, and troubleshooting server performance issues. Additionally, the developer will create and maintain documentation and assist in integrating Alteryx with other data analytics tools.
Must have:

  • Strong understanding of data analytics concepts and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and integration techniques

Job Details

Your Role

  • Lead the setup, configuration, and ongoing management of Alteryx Server, ensuring optimal performance and security as well as compliance to all the bank policies, standards and MAS TRM.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design Alteryx workflows that meet their needs.
  • Setting up user authentication, log monitoring and other peripheral software in the Alteryx server, coordinating with other IT teams where necessary.
  • Liaise with the vendor for any issue resolution.
  • Develop, test, and deploy Alteryx workflows, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and well-documented.
  • Provide training and support to team members and other users on Alteryx best practices and advanced functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Alteryx workflows and server performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements in Alteryx and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for Alteryx processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in the integration of Alteryx with other data analytics tools and platforms.
  • Monitor the usage of Alteryx Server and provide insights on performance metrics and user adoption.
  • Support in the review and governing of the users developed workflows
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Alteryx Server post go live.
  • Perform server administrative tasks i.e.  access configuration and maintenance.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Alteryx, including hands-on experience with Alteryx Server and workflow development.
  • Strong understanding of Alteryx Server features and functionality
  • Experience with Alteryx Server administration, configuration, and maintenance
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of data analytics concepts, ETL processes, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and integration techniques.
