Job Description
This role is for an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer with 8+ years of experience, focusing on setting up and fine-tuning monitoring tools like Grafana and Zabbix. Responsibilities include integrating monitoring tools with ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow, optimizing configurations, and identifying automation opportunities across various infrastructure layers. The role requires strong understanding of IT infrastructure components and experience with public cloud environments like Azure.
Must Have:
- Set up and fine-tune monitoring thresholds, alerts, and dashboards.
- Integrate monitoring tools with ITOM platforms like ServiceNow.
- Optimize tool configurations to reduce alert noise.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams for full-stack visibility.
- 8+ years in infrastructure monitoring or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Zabbix, PagerDuty, ELK, ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with ITOM integrations and observability best practices.
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Shell) for automation.
- Experience with Azure Monitor and public cloud environments.

Your Role
- Set up and fine-tune thresholds, alerts, and dashboards across infrastructure layers using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
- Integrate monitoring tools with ITOM platforms such as ServiceNow ITOM.
- Optimize tool configurations to reduce alert noise and improve signal quality.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across servers, storage, backup, databases, networks, and Azure environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure full-stack visibility and end-to-end observability.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure monitoring, tool administration, or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana (primary skill), and secondary tools such as Zabbix, PagerDuty, ELK, and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components: servers, storage, backup, databases, and networks.
- Familiarity with ITOM integrations, automation, and observability best practices.
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Shell) for automation tasks.
- Experience with Azure Monitor and public cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
