This role is part of a fast-paced team that executes Global functions business strategy, focused on driving efficiency through automation and improving employee productivity. The Systems Analyst will manage secure access for in-house and third-party applications critical to PayPal's global operations, supporting thousands of employees and contingent workers. Responsibilities include performing work assignments requiring general SaaS and enterprise-wide applications knowledge, supporting and potentially leading limited-scope IT projects, and analyzing decisions under supervision.
Must have:
  • Performs portions of work assignments requiring general SaaS and enterprise-wide applications knowledge and developing business expertise
  • Supports and may lead enterprise-wide applications projects of limited scope impacting information technology or enterprise systems functions
  • Analyzes and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision
  • Receives regular and general instruction and guidance from more experienced colleagues on work in the form of specific objectives

  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across regions and functions
  • Ability to deliver accurate results while managing competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and lead meetings when needed

  • Confidence in public speaking and delivering presentations
  • Experience in access management (Attribute-Based Access Control is a plus)
  • Identify, develop, or implement AI tools to improve access management processes, including automating access reviews, detecting unusual activity, and enhancing compliance controls.
  • Experience using AI tools for process improvement, analysis, or reporting is a plus
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs portions of work assignments requiring general SaaS and enterprise-wide applications knowledge and developing business expertise
  • Supports and may lead enterprise-wide applications projects of limited scope impacting information technology or enterprise systems functions
  • Analyzes and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision
  • Receives regular and general instruction and guidance from more experienced colleagues on work in the form of specific objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across regions and functions
  • Ability to deliver accurate results while managing competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and lead meetings when needed
  • Capacity to learn complex systems quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort balancing automated and manual processes
  • Confidence in public speaking and delivering presentations
