Android Developer - Futures

Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem leader, seeks an Android Developer for its Futures team. The role involves designing and implementing new user-facing features for Android applications on their exchange. Responsibilities include balancing high response, stable, and efficient code with attractive aesthetics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing third-party data sources and APIs, creating and executing unit tests, troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, improving application performance, and participating in technical and product discussions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Jetpack, Retrofit, Okhttp, Flutter, webSocket network programming, and real-time data processing, with a strong understanding of the Android framework and performance optimization techniques.

Must Have

• 3-5 years of experience developing production software
• Design and implement new user-facing features in Android applications
• Balance high response, stable, and efficient code with attractive aesthetics
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have

• Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience at renowned internet companies or cryptocurrency exchanges
• Experience working with Jetpack, Retrofit, Okhttp and Flutter
• Experience working with webSocket network programming and real-time data processing
• Deeply understand Android framework principles and performance optimization
• Passion for using analysis tools to solve difficult problems
