Our client is seeking a talented Android Developer to join their innovative team. In this role, you will develop apps for active implantable medical devices, with a strong focus on quality and technological advancements. Responsibilities include assessing technical feasibility, setting up demo environments, and using Agile and CI/CD principles. You will also perform functional analysis, develop automated tests, ensure compliance with industry standards, and contribute to technical reviews and intellectual property generation.

Tasks
- Develop high-quality apps for medical devices
- Stay updated on technological advancements
- Evaluate technical possibilities and help create technical plans
- Set up demo environments for internal teams
- Use Agile and CI/CD methods to improve quality and performance
- Perform functional analysis and create system designs
- Develop automated and manual tests for system verification
- Follow industry standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO62304, ISO60601, ISO14971).
- Ensure all requirements, tests, and reports are well-documented and linked
- Perform system integration, verification, and validation
- Help manage configurations and participate in technical/design/milestone reviews
- Develop new intellectual property
- Follow change request processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of app development experience, ideally in regulated fields like (implantable) medical devices, defense, or automotive
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering disciplines e.g. computer science
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools e.g. Jira
- Familiarity with Bluetooth communication protocols
- Experience with software build and test infrastructures like Jenkins, GIT, and Cucumber
- Strong understanding of Android Clean Architecture and Kotlin development, including Coroutines and Jetpack Compose
- Skilled in creating scalable multi-brand applications with a multi-modular setup
- Proficiency in test-driven development and writing testable code
- Ability to critically review code and communicate improvements positively
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to devise improvement plans
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work well in diverse, international teams
- Familiarity with agile processes, continuous integration, and test automation
- Service-oriented, analytical, reliable, and results-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with iOS development is advantageous
