##### Project description
Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
##### Responsibilities
- Environment & Monitoring Setup:
- Participate in the setup and improvement of environment/application monitoring tools (e.g., GENEOS, etc.).
- Ensure all environments are up, healthy, and monitored regularly.
- Raise alerts and notify the team when abnormalities or issues are detected.
- Batch Job Management (SIT & UAT
- Open Systems):
- Manage batch job setup requests from developers (e.g., RIM).
- Validate that all batch job requests meet quality standards:
- Adhoc vs. permanent jobs
- Job outputs should contain clear error details
- Monitor batch job execution and performance.
- Consolidate and maintain complete inventory of batch jobs.
- EOD Calendar Publishing & Coordination:
- Publish SIT and UAT End of Day (EOD) run calendars to project TCOE.
- Coordinate with PEMS team for adhoc EOD run requests from projects.
- Environment & Connectivity Management
- Act as coordinator for environment and connectivity setup/readiness across all applications within the project.
- Consolidate and publish environment readiness reports.
- Perform timely escalation to Project Managers for delays/issues in environment or connectivity.
- Issue Tracking:
- Track environment issues using project Jira and ensure timely closure.
- Provide status updates to stakeholders and maintain issue logs.
