Illumination seeks an Archival Intern for Summer 2025 to support the Director of Digital Asset Management and Archive. Responsibilities include organizing physical artwork from Illumination films, digitizing and processing artwork, uploading and cataloging digital assets into a DAM system, and reporting on project progress. The intern will work on multiple archival projects, requiring strong communication and attention to detail. This is a 40-hour/week, 8-week internship, suitable for students returning to school in the fall. The successful candidate will be enrolled in an accredited Archival/Library Science Graduate program and possess knowledge of file structures and procedures.

Illumination is seeking an Archival Intern for Summer 2025 to work under the general direction of the Director of Digital Asset Management and Archive. They will need to demonstrate strong communication skills and adaptation to work on multiple projects within the Archive.

Responsibilities:

Organize physical artwork from Illumination Animated Films.
Digitize and process physical artwork
Upload and catalog digital assets into a Digital Asset Management System
Communicate effectively with the Archives Director regarding progress on projects

Qualifications:

Available to work 40 hours per week for 8 weeks
Students returning to school in the fall are eligible to apply
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of file structures and procedures.
Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to prepare reports regarding project goals and deadlines.
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited Archival/Library Science Graduate program for the full duration of the internship.
Must be authorized to work int he United States without visa sponsorship by the company.

The salary for this position is $17.28/hour.
