About the Role :

We are looking for a result-driven Area Collections Manager to lead and manage collections & recovery for unsecured loan portfolios. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of collection officers and agency partners, ensuring high recovery rates, minimizing delinquencies, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and drive recovery operations for unsecured personal loans across assigned territory.
• Monitor and control portfolio delinquency, especially early and late-stage buckets.
• Recruit, train, and manage field collection teams and recovery agencies.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to improve recovery efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines and maintain ethical recovery practices.
• Liaise with legal teams for escalated recoveries including settlements, arbitration, and legal actions.
• Use data insights and MIS reports to track performance and highlight portfolio risks.
• Conduct field visits, audits, and surprise checks to ensure process hygiene.
• Coordinate closely with credit, risk, and operations teams for seamless process flow.
