E2open is seeking an Area Sales Director to expand its presence in the manufacturing and distribution industries. The role involves identifying and engaging new clients, understanding their pain points, and offering E2open's SaaS solutions to transform their operations. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, attending industry events, presenting solutions to senior executives, negotiating and closing high-value contracts, and maintaining accurate CRM data. The ideal candidate will have proven SaaS sales success, strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative, self-motivated approach.

E2open is looking for an Area Sales Director - New Logo to play a pivotal role in our mission to expand our presence in the manufacturing and distribution industries. What You’ll Do:

As an Area Sales Director (ASD) at E2open, you will be the driving force behind our efforts to introduce our innovative supply chain solutions to new clients. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to manufacturing and distribution prospects, helping them understand how E2open’s powerful SaaS platform can transform their operations. Your efforts will directly contribute to our organic growth and success.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Targeting New Logos: Identify and engage new manufacturing clients, uncovering pain points and delivering tailored solutions that drive business growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute sales strategies that meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of trends by attending key industry events and cultivating new business leads.
  • Client Engagement: Deliver compelling sales presentations to senior executives, showcasing how E2open can revolutionize their supply chain management.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Leverage your strong negotiation and closing skills to seal the deal with new customers.
  • Accountability & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM data, monitor sales activities, and track performance metrics to ensure goals are met.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven SaaS Sales Success: A track record of closing new logo deals in a SaaS environment, ideally in the supply chain management domain.
  • Negotiation Expertise: Experience in creating proposals, negotiating, and closing high-value contracts with senior-level executives.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage and influence at the C-suite level.
  • Creative Problem Solving: An out-of-the-box thinker who excels at finding innovative solutions to complex client challenges.
  • Leadership with Empathy: You’re a leader who puts clients first, ready to step in and offer support when needed to ensure their success.
  • Self-Motivated & Collaborative: While you thrive independently, you know how to work with cross-functional teams to achieve your sales goals.
