Job Responsibilities
- 3D modelling and texturing of CG assets for live-action feature film and episodic television VFX projects.
- Work in partnership with asset, lighting and compositing artists to ensure shots are delivered to the very highest standard, with an emphasis on photo-realism.
- Create photo-real texture and relevant maps.
- Manage the quality of 3D models and textures for production use in high and low res format.
- Collaborate with CG Supervisors and VFX Supervisors in planning and creation of assets.
- Work at an advanced level to execute the desired look of complicated CG assets.
- Troubleshoot creative and technical problems under tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Essential Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a modelling/texturing artist on live-action VFX projects.
- Expert knowledge of MAYA, ZBrush, Substance, MARI, Vray, RenderMan.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and desire to deliver consistently high quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment, with a willingness to share knowledge and provide mentorship.
