Asset Protection Associate

This structure ensures that one global team oversees the physical security of our facilities, the maintenance of our facilities, the movement of our inventory, and the overall safety of our employees. In this role, you will: 

• Foster healthy relationships with staff, vendors, and guests, while demonstrating a superior customer service attitude
• Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times that is in compliance with GOAT Group’s uniform and dress code standards
• Assist in reviewing POST Orders for your assigned facility
• Ensure that all aspects of POST Orders are in place, monitored, and enforced

• Assist in enforcing the facility-level IIPP Program (Injury, Illness, and Prevention Program), Emergency Evacuation Procedures, Fire Prevention Program, and notification of emergency services as directed
• Assist with access control compliance, helping enforce the company visitor program, and access control card audits
• Thoroughly examine and record logistics carrier information in accordance with C-TPAT compliance standards where applicable
• Complete opening/closing checklists and communicate results/findings

• Support the local management team with any planned and/or special events
• Control entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to GOAT Group Policy
• Conduct thorough package inspections, including jackets/coats anytime employees are entering/exiting the facility (warehouse/retail store)
• Document unlawful/suspicious activities
• Review CCTV footage and document any incidents (Video Ticket Review/After-hours/Weekend activities/Safety Review etc.) as directed by AP Leadership
• Assist in the process of evicting trespassers and violators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive at the scene
• Be trusted to make smart decisions, consistent with applicable guidance and policies
• Must be capable of complying with the company Hands-Off Policy while maintaining a safe work environment within all Goat Facilities
• Any other duties as assigned by Asset Protection, Workplace Services, and/or Operation

We are looking for: 

• A motivated and team-oriented individual with one or more years of Distribution Center and/or Retail store experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Asset Protection/and or Security Guard experience preferred
• Audit and compliance experience preferred 
• Ability to confidently handle confidential and/or sensitive information
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the evolving needs of the business, possibly to include nights, weekends and holidays. Planned/ unplanned overtime may be required
• Ability to complete expected responsibilities under minimal supervision
• CCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, and IOS experience is a plus for this position, but not required
• Ability to work in a warehouse or retail environment
• Ability to Stand, Walk, and Sit for extended time frames 
• CPR certification is preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
