The Assets Manager will develop and implement asset management strategies, supervise maintenance teams, oversee facilities and fleet operations, and establish maintenance programs. This role involves maintaining asset registers, ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, leading improvement initiatives, and coordinating with various departments for budgeting and reporting.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise maintenance teams for electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure.
  • Oversee building and facilities maintenance, ensuring safety and functionality.
  • Manage company fleet operations, including utilization, maintenance, and cost control.
  • Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical assets.
  • Maintain accurate asset register and ensure audit/regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with HSE for safe work environments and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor asset performance KPIs, downtime, maintenance costs, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability.
  • Develop capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans for upgrades/enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Finance for vendor management and budgeting.
  • Prepare regular reports on asset conditions and maintenance performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
  • Supervise maintenance teams responsible for electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Oversee building and facilities maintenance, ensuring operational safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Manage company fleet operations, including utilization, maintenance scheduling, registration, insurance, and cost control.
  • Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical assets.
  • Maintain an accurate asset register and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HSE to ensure safe work environments and the implementation of risk mitigation practices.
  • Monitor asset performance KPIs, downtime, maintenance costs, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and reduce operational disruptions.
  • Develop capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans for asset upgrades, replacements, or facility enhancements.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Finance for vendor management, spare part acquisition, and cost budgeting.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on asset conditions, maintenance performance, and improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 12–15 years of experience in maintenance and asset management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong background in electrical systems, mechanical equipment, facilities maintenance, and fleet operations.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle plans.
  • Familiarity with CMMS or ERP-based asset management tools.
  • Knowledge of local safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
