Job Description

Support ongoing efforts and provide technical support for multiple database re-platforming efforts to Exadata. Review and implement data loading scripts related to Golden Gate data replication. Optimize and tune SQL queries and indexes in Oracle. Work with Oracle 12c/19c/Exadata capabilities and functionality. Develop strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers). Proficient in performance tuning (PL/SQL) using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing, and Hints. Possess strong knowledge of database triggers, indexes, and partitioning. Expertise in Oracle architecture. Proficient in reading Query Execution Plans to evaluate and improve SQL performance. Manage database objects like tablespace, users, indexes, roles, privileges, profiles, and synonyms. Monitor database performance related to memory usage, backups, active sessions, long-running queries, tablespace configuration, and space allocations. Coordinate with data architects and analysts on building schemas, tables, functions, views, stored procedures, and roles. Coordinate with the automation team for scheduling various AWA/RMJ jobs. Provide DBA supervision and Oracle best practices guidance for custom application development and routine database administration.

Must have:

To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions / Reopen Cases
To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management
Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management, Training freshers, coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives.
