Support ongoing efforts and provide technical support for multiple database re-platforming efforts to Exadata.\r\n Reviewing and implementing data loading scripts related to Golden Gate data replication.\r\n Optimization and tuning of SQL queries and indexes in Oracle.\r\n Working knowledge of Oracle 12c/Oracle 19c/Exadata added capabilities and functionality.\r\n Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers) a plus.\r\n Proficient in performance tuning (PL/SQL) using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing, and Hints.\r\n Strong knowledge of database triggers, indexes, and partitioning.\r\n Expertise in Oracle architecture. \r\n Proficient in reading Query Execution Plans with the ability to evaluate and improve performance characteristics of SQL.\r\n Manage database objects like table space, users, indexes, roles, privileges, profiles, and synonyms.\r\n Monitoring of the database performance as it relates to memory usage, proper backups, active sessions, long-running queries, tablespace configuration, and space allocations. \r\n Coordinate with data architects and analysts on the building of schemas, tables, functions, views, stored procedures, and roles.\r\n Coordination with the automation team for the scheduling of various AWA/RMJ jobs to be executed on multiple databases.\r\n Provide DBA supervision and Oracle best practices guidance for custom application development and routine database administration efforts.
