Key responsibilities include planning and executing digital sales, communicating with global teams, meeting with partners, submitting promo lineups, tracking performance, analyzing sales data, coordinating pricing, and executing LCM for third-party digital business. The position requires a passion for video games and strong analytical and communication skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

Bandai Namco Entertainment America’s Associate Digital Sales LCM Manager will proactively support in driving digital revenue through effective discount planning / life-cycle management (LCM) across the company’s portfolio on the various digital platforms. They will collaborate with team members, overseas offices, First Party (1P) partners such as Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, or Valve, and third-party (3P) partners to develop digital SKU plans and execute discount strategies based on industry best practices and internal policies. 

Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of digital sales / LCM on all titles for assigned digital platforms to maximize revenue 
  • Collaborate and communicate consistently with overseas Bandai Namco Group companies to ensure global consensus on various discount planning and LCM strategies. 
  • Facilitate regular meetings with assigned 1P and 3P partners to ensure alignment of goals and timelines 
  • Accountable for managing relevant LCM-related matters, including submitting promo lineups into 1P portals and internal approval workflows, and keeping a pulse on 1P post-launch opportunities and curated placements 
  • Maintain understanding of all discounts and performance linked to digital storefront placements for all major platforms 
  • Gather sales-related data, collaborate with internal analytics teams to understand digital trends, report the outcomes of digital promotions, and provide insights as needed 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to determine pricing for all digital storefronts, and provide recommendations for when to advance to the next discount level 
  • Accountable for executing LCM for 3P digital business with digital game distributors such as Humble Bundle or Nuuvem 
  • Responsible for documenting business schemes of other publishers that relate to the games published by Bandai Namco  
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or other relevant field of study 
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales-planning or support role, preferably within the Video Game Industry 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Computer proficiency required (e.g., data entry; Microsoft 365 apps, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau) 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, which include being able to effectively work collaboratively and cross-departmentally in a team environment to exceed team goals   
  • Passion and knowledge of video games is a must 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly with pivot tables to isolate relevant data when needed 
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, leveraging effective charts to distill complex information to a variety of staff ranging from colleagues to senior management 

SALARY RANGE

$85,000 – $95,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
