The Associate Product Manager – Monetization will support the design, optimization, and execution of our Live Ops strategy with a strong emphasis on data analysis, offer tuning, and in-game economy balancing. This role is highly analytical, requiring strong attention to detail for offer segmentation, A/B testing, revenue modeling, and feature impact analysis. The Associate PM will define Live Ops configurations and pricing, monitor performance, and iterate based on insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the art and science behind creating a sustainable game economy, aligning gameplay, player satisfaction, and business goals.
Must have:
  • Support the design and execution of in-game activities and offers, ensuring they are finely tuned to drive monetization KPIs.
  • Analyze player behavior and monetization data to identify opportunities for optimizing Live Ops configurations, offers, and reward structures.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Science teams to plan, run, and analyze A/B tests.
  • Work closely with CRM and Social Media teams to align player-facing messaging with in-game promotions.
  • Monitor live KPIs during active campaigns, proactively identifying issues and working with Production and QA teams.
  • Help driving the integration of AI and machine learning tools into the team’s tuning and optimization processes.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to implement AI-driven models that predict player behavior.
  • Segment the player base for targeted promotions and activities, driving differentiated experiences.
  • Support retention strategies by identifying churn risks and collaborating with Data Science on mitigation plans.
  • Maintain and execute a detailed Live Ops Calendar, balancing recurring and one-time events.
  • Assist in streamlining Live Ops processes and documentation, ensuring efficient coordination.
  • Bring a data-driven mindset to every aspect of the role, using insights to drive continuous improvements.

About The Role:

The Associate Product Manager – Monetization will support the design, optimization, and execution of our Live Ops strategy with a strong emphasis on data analysis, offer tuning, and in-game economy balancing. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about using numbers to drive decisions and is excited to shape engaging player experiences that maximize both fun and revenue.

The Associate PM will report to the Director of Monetization and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Analysts, CRM, and Game Design teams. They will be instrumental in ensuring that in-game offers, events, and promotions are not only exciting but also finely tuned to player behavior and business performance.

This role is highly analytical and requires a strong attention to detail. From offer segmentation and AB testing to revenue modeling and feature impact analysis, the Associate PM will play a critical role in evolving our monetization strategy. They will help define Live Ops configurations and pricing strategies, monitor their performance across key metrics (conversion, retention, ARPDAU, etc.), and iterate to improve results based on insights and feedback.

With each Live Ops event, we aim to drive player engagement through thoughtful reward systems, compelling value propositions, and well-optimized mechanics. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the art and science behind creating a sustainable game economy—where gameplay, player satisfaction, and business goals align.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and execution of in-game activities and offers, ensuring they are finely tuned to drive monetization KPIs (conversion, ARPDAU, LTV) while maintaining a compelling player experience.
  • Analyze player behavior and monetization data to identify opportunities for optimizing Live Ops configurations, offers, and reward structures.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Science teams to plan, run, and analyze A/B tests that inform offer tuning, segmentation strategies, and feature impact.
  • Work closely with CRM and Social Media teams to align player-facing messaging with in-game promotions, ensuring consistent and effective communication across channels (push notifications, in-game messaging, email, etc.).
  • Monitor live KPIs during active campaigns, proactively identifying issues and working with Production and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve them in real-time.
  • Help driving the integration of AI and machine learning tools into the team’s tuning and optimization processes, enhancing data-driven decision-making for monetization strategies.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to implement AI-driven models that predict player behavior, segment audiences, and automate offer personalization.
  • Segment the player base for targeted promotions and activities, driving differentiated experiences that uplift key KPIs across segments.
  • Support retention strategies by identifying churn risks and collaborating with Data Science on mitigation plans through Live Ops and promotional activities.
  • Maintain and execute a detailed Live Ops Calendar, balancing recurring and one-time events, with an eye towards continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Assist in streamlining Live Ops processes and documentation, ensuring efficient coordination across cross-functional teams.
  • Bring a data-driven mindset to every aspect of the role, using insights to drive continuous improvements in monetization effectiveness and operational excellence.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working on a game team; genuine interest in Mobile gaming
  • Outstanding curiosity and drive to learn
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills both player-facing and internal (team-facing)
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
  • High sense of urgency and ownership, with the ability to act swiftly and decisively in a fast-paced, live environment.
  • Attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently or within a team environment
  • Game design knowledge – a big advantage
