Job Description

As the Associate Manager, Content, you will support the growth and editorial strategy of IGA’s artist and non-artist-specific digital brands. This role involves content creation, building reports to highlight department progress, and contributing editorial ideas. You will collaborate with the Director and Sr. Director of Owned & Operated to align strategy with IGA’s broader digital marketing and brand initiatives. The role requires managing social media pages, analyzing performance data, monitoring social trends, and maintaining a content calendar to amplify marketing campaigns.

Your Next ROLE:

As the Associate Manager, Content, you’ll support the growth and editorial strategy of IGA’s artist and non-artist-specific digital brands. In this role, you’ll be responsible for content creation, building reports to highlight department progress, and contributing editorial ideas. You’ll collaborate closely with the Director and Sr. Director of Owned & Operated to ensure our strategy aligns with IGA’s broader digital marketing and brand initiatives.

How You’ll CREATE:

  • Source and schedule engaging content to grow social media accounts.
  • Pull and analyze performance data to create clear, visually compelling reports.
  • Monitor social trends and conversations related to Hip-Hop and digital culture; share relevant insights with the team.
  • Maintain a content calendar that reflects key marketing moments and campaigns, while contributing creative ideas to amplify them.

  • Proven experience managing social media pages, ideally in Hip-Hop or adjacent cultural spaces.
  • Strong understanding of social algorithms, trends, and tactics for content-driven growth.
  • Passion for digital culture and community engagement, especially with niche audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to build visually compelling, insight-rich reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Canva (or similar tools) for quick asset creation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong writing skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
