Job Summary

At Universal Music Group (UMG), the Technology User Enablement Specialist empowers employees globally to confidently and creatively use technology. This role involves bringing technology to life through learning experiences, communication strategies, and adoption programs, making it easy and inspiring for employees to maximize UMG’s digital ecosystem. The specialist transforms complex systems into seamless experiences, enabling teams to work smarter, create faster, and stay connected.

Must Have

  • Champion a user-first mindset.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences.
  • Develop accessible user resources such as guides, videos, and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate to plan and execute adoption strategies for new technologies.
  • Create enablement campaigns that inspire enthusiasm around tools.
  • Analyze adoption metrics and employee feedback to measure impact.
  • Partner with Tech support and product owners to identify trends and optimize user experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Communications, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in technology training, user enablement, IT support, or change management.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with diverse users.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident interacting with colleagues of all levels, including senior executives.
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise collaboration tools like Microsoft 365, Zoom, ChatGPT, monday.com.

The Technology User Enablement Specialist plays a pivotal role in realizing that mission by empowering employees across the globe to confidently and creatively use technology in their daily work.

In this role, you’ll help bring technology to life for our people through learning experiences, communication strategies, and adoption programs that make it easy and inspiring for employees to get the most out of UMG’s digital ecosystem. You’ll turn complex systems into seamless experiences, enabling teams across every label and business unit to work smarter, create faster, and stay connected.

How you'll CREATE:

User Enablement & Training

  • Champion a user-first mindset, ensuring that people feel confident and supported when adopting new tools.
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and learning experiences that promote confident use of enterprise tools.
  • Foster vibrant user communities around key technology platforms by sharing best practices, success stories, and “quick wins.”
  • Develop accessible user resources, such as guides, videos, and knowledge articles, that make technology simple and intuitive for all employees.
  • Contribute to a culture of shared learning by making knowledge resources easy to access and use across regions and business units.
  • Act as a point of contact for user enablement questions, helping employees overcome challenges and discover better ways to leverage technology.

Technology Adoption & Change Management

  • Collaborate to plan and execute adoption strategies for new technologies, ensuring smooth transitions and strong engagement.
  • Create enablement campaigns that inspire enthusiasm around tools and transformation initiatives.
  • Leverage storytelling and real-world examples to make technology relatable, helping users see the tangible benefits of new tools in their day-to-day workflows.
  • Analyze adoption metrics and employee feedback to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Tech support and product owners to identify trends, remove barriers, and optimize the overall user experience.
  • Use feedback loops and analytics to proactively identify areas where additional guidance or simplification could improve efficiency.

Bring your VIBE:

  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise collaboration tools like Microsoft 365, Zoom, ChatGPT, monday.com, and more. Plus, the ability to quickly get up to speed on new or unfamiliar tools.
