TelevisaUnivision Network News is seeking an Associate Producer with strong news judgment and production skills for a fast-paced newsroom. Responsibilities include creating banners for daily news segments, producing graphics and AR, writing scripts, assisting line producers, and reacting quickly during breaking news. The role requires flexibility with scheduling and an early shift.
Must have:
- Produce banners for morning news segments
- Create graphics and AR
- Produce news briefs
- Write scripts
- Assist line producers, writers, editors, anchors
- React quickly during breaking news
- Flexible work schedule, including early shifts
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong journalistic news gathering skills
- Experience with social media platforms
- Effective news writing for all platforms
- Excellent Spanish grammar
- Proficiency in inews, Viz, VME
- Fully bilingual (written and spoken)
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision Network News is looking for an associate producer with great news judgment, production skills and able to work in the fast-paced environment of a newsroom.
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Responsible for banners for daily news segments in the morning show
- Graphics production and AR
- Production of news briefs
- Writing scripts
- Assist line producers, writers, editors, and anchors with rundowns
- The role requires fast reaction during breaking news and flexibility with scheduling.
YOU HAVE:
- Able to work the early shift and have a flexible schedule
- Able to work under pressure
- Requires fast reaction during breaking news
- Strong journalistic skills in news gathering
- Experience with social media platforms
- Effective news writing for all platforms
- Excellent Spanish grammar
- Good interpersonal skills
- Problem solver
- Associate producer will be trained in indifferent shifts from morning show to evening shows including weekends.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications.
- 2 years’ experience
- inews, Viz, VME
- Fully bilingual (Written and spoken)
