Job Description

The Associate Quality Designer will oversee quality processes and establish best practices for the analyst team, collaborating with leadership. This role involves managing the quality plan for a specific module in Hyderabad, partnering with Producers and Designers to ensure quality and provide feedback on new features, and leveraging testing methodologies to optimize software performance and elevate gameplay.
Must Have:
  • Provide oversight of quality processes and establish best practices
  • Oversee the entire quality plan for one of the team's modules
  • Partner with Producer and/or Designer to agree on quality and feedback for new features
  • Leverage testing skills and methodologies to systematically test the product
  • Report high impact or complex bugs and provide actionable feedback
  • Build partnerships/Collaborate with QV partners, development, production, and design teams
  • Mentor and support team members with QA deliverables and implementation of quality strategies
  • Drive improvements and knowledge sharing across teams
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes, workflows, and defect and task tracking software
  • Ability to Create test plans, design test strategies and communicate them effectively.

About the Role: The Associate Quality Designer position will require you to provide an oversight of our quality processes and establish best practices for our analyst family together with our leadership team. You will oversee the entire quality plan for one of the modules of the team located in Hyderabad in collaboration with our partners, and partner with the Producer and/or Designer to agree on the quality and feedback for new features.

| 🔑Your Responsibilities |

| Quality Strategy and Test Planning | * Leverage testing skills and methodologies to systematically test the product and share results

  • Help evolve the team’s tools and processes with a focus on expanding capabilities and responsibilities, along with introducing more efficient and accurate practices
  • Ensure that strategies, plans and other best practices laid out are followed by the team.
  • Promote a "player-oriented" approach and help achieve a high-quality experience for the players |

| Quality and Data Analysis | * Report high impact or complex bugs and provide actionable feedback to improve the quality of the game for players

  • Evaluate and adopt the latest and best practices from other teams, departments or the industry |

| Collaboration and Communication | * Build partnerships/Collaborate with QV partners, development, production, and design teams.

  • Provide progress and status updates through reporting and verbal communication, where needed.
  • Work with multiple teams to drive features through project milestones |

| Mentorship and Team Support | * Mentor and support team members with QA deliverables and implementation of quality strategies

  • Drive improvements and knowledge sharing across teams |

| ✅ Our Requirements |

| Experience and Knowledge | * 5+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design

  • Understanding of quality assurance processes, workflows, and defect and task tracking software
  • Familiarity with bug prevention and containment strategies
  • Game Domain knowledge, with inclination towards playing video games for driving end-to-end quality plan throughout the game/pack cycle |

| Skills and Abilities | * Ability to Create test plans, design test strategies and communicate them effectively.

  • Passion for creating high-quality player experiences
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills |
