Job Summary

Join Electronic Arts' Data and Analytics team as a Data Engineer II to support major game titles by providing insights into player behavior and development cycles. This role involves collaborating with analysts, scientists, and leadership to design and implement robust, scalable ETL pipelines for Business Intelligence. You will also be crucial in migrating legacy on-premises ETL processes to cloud-based solutions and promoting strategies for data modeling, quality, and architecture. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office weekly.

Must Have

  • Work with analysts to understand requirements and develop technical specifications for ETLs.
  • Implement efficient, scalable and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data.
  • Be involved in migration and modernization of legacy on-premises ETL processes to cloud-based solutions.
  • Promote strategies to improve data modelling, quality and architecture.
  • Work with big data solutions, ETL pipelines and dashboard tools.
  • 4+ years experience in data engineering with a degree in a quantitative field.
  • 1+ year experience working with on-prem solutions like SQL Server.
  • 3+ years in SQL and cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks).
  • 3+ years experience in data modeling, ETL, and warehousing.
  • 3+ years experience with Python, Airflow, and version control (GitHub/GitLab).

Join our Data and Analytics team to support major game titles by providing insights into player behaviour and development cycles. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong technical skills to handle large data volumes. Reporting to the Technical Director, you'll be involved in all stages of development, collaborating with analysts, scientists, and leadership to create robust ETL pipelines for Business Intelligence. You will work in Hybrid remote/in-office role, with 3 days in office weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work with analysts, understand requirements, and develop technical specifications for ETLs
  • You will implement efficient, scalable and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data.
  • You will be involved in our migration and modernization of legacy on-premises ETL processes to cloud-based solutions, ensuring efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines within our evolving data architecture.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in data engineering with a degree in a quantitative field.
  • You have 1+ year experience working with on-prem solutions like SQL Server.
  • You have 3+ in SQL and cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks).
  • You have 3+ years experience in data modeling, ETL, and warehousing.
  • You have 3+ years experience with Python, Airflow, and version control (GitHub/GitLab).
