Job Summary

This role involves the detailed design, layout, test, evaluation, and debugging of analog/mixed-signal/RF integrated circuits. Responsibilities include performing architect, design, layout, and simulation for block-level specifications, supporting RF design, conducting lab testing and troubleshooting, and developing innovative designs. The engineer will also guide layout designers, support product definition, and assist with manufacturing and customer needs, while collaborating effectively with internal and external partners.

Must Have

  • Perform analog/mixed-signal architect, design, layout, and simulation for block-level specifications.
  • Support RF design, layout, and simulation for block-level specifications.
  • Conduct lab testing, characterization, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop innovative new designs for patenting or trade secret protection.
  • Provide guidance to layout designers for sensitive custom layouts.
  • Support product definition, test program development, and manufacturing/customer needs.
  • Master’s degree or bachelor's with minimum 10 years related experience.
  • Experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal designs (BG, LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, OSC, TX, RX).
  • Knowledge in ESD and Latchup.
  • Knowledge in behavior modeling VerilogA & VerilogAMS.

Summary

Detailed design of analog/mixed-signal/RF circuits, including design capture, layout, test, evaluation and debugging of prototype ICs and design support for mass production

Responsibilities

  • Perform analog / mixed-signal architect, design and layout, simulation for the block-level specifications.
  • Support RF design and layout, simulation for the block-level specifications.
  • Be good in lab testing, characterization and troubleshooting.
  • Develop the innovative new design for patenting or protecting as trade secret.
  • Provide the guidance to the layout designers for sensitive custom layouts.
  • Support the product definition, the test program development and the manufacturing/production/customer needs.
  • Conduct technical sharing.
  • Be a good team player to work well with internal and external partners.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A technology-related Master’s degree or a bachelor's degree in equivalent training with a minimum of 10 years of related experience. An advanced degree may reduce the minimum experience required.
  • Experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal designs, such as BG, LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, OSC, TX or RX.
  • Knowledge in ESD and Latchup.
  • Knowledge in behavior modeling VerilogA & VerilogAMS.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
