The UX designer will act as the player's advocate within the team, responsible for creating engaging player experiences that reach millions of gamers globally. This role requires a comprehensive approach to experience design, from initial concept to final implementation. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and product managers to conceptualize unique ideas and bring them to life through clear wireframes and effective prototypes.
Must have:
- 2+ years in UX Design or similar roles
- Strong portfolio with design fundamentals knowledge
- Basic knowledge of games
- Empathy for players
- Keen eye for aesthetics
- Great communication skills for design decisions
- Decent research and deconstruction skills
- Proficiency in Figma or similar wireframing tools
Good to have:
- Love for games
- Visual design skills
- Experience designing for accessibility
- Ability to use mathematics for data-driven design

The role requires you to have a holistic approach to experience design, from concept to execution. Work closely with game designers, artists and product managers to develop unique concepts, and bring them to life with clear wireframes and effective prototypes.
Requirements
Required skills:
● 2+ years in UX Design or similar roles.
● 2+ years in UX Design or similar roles.
● A strong portfolio demonstrating robust knowledge of design fundamentals
● Basic knowledge of games (be it mobile, PC, console, board games etc)
● Empathy for players, young and old
● A keen eye for aesthetics and strong opinions on it
● Great communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate design decisions
● Decent research, observation and deconstruction skills
● Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or similar wireframing tools
Bonus points:
● If you love games. This helps you empathise with players a lot more easily.
● Visual design skills are also good to have. This enables you to communicate better with the game artists.
● If you have experience designing for accessibility. Many of our players have additional needs and it’s always good to have a designer who’s particularly mindful of it.
● If you’re able to use mathematics to your advantage. A lot of design decisions are data-driven, and understanding the numbers gives you an edge
