Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing team at Capgemini. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud services, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines. As part of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and integration using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments with AWS tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployments.
• Continuously improve the CI/CD process and tools to ensure faster, more reliable delivery of software.
• Work with security teams to ensure compliance with best practices in cloud security and data protection.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident management and resolution.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience in managing cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools for automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Good understanding of cloud security best practices and experience in implementing security controls in AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
