- Perform regular backup jobs, restore operations, and ensure data recoverability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backup failures and performance bottlenecks.
- Manage backup policies, schedules, and retention settings based on business requirements.
- Monitor and report on backup success rates and SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies and standards.
- Collaborate with storage, network, and server teams for holistic backup strategies.
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Perform software upgrades and patching for NetWorker and Avamar systems.
- Maintain documentation for backup procedures and configurations.
