BI (Oracle, Tableau) Data Engineer

Rackspace is seeking an Intermediate BI (Oracle, Tableau) Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience for their Bangalore, India location. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Oracle PL/SQL databases, supporting BI reporting and dashboard needs, and monitoring system performance through automation and scripting using Python and Git. Candidates should have a notice period of less than 30 days.

Must Have

• 3+ years of experience
• Notice period less than 30 days only
• Design, develop, test, and implement high-performance Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Optimize complex SQL queries for maximum efficiency
• Work closely with BI analysts to support reporting and dashboard needs
• Prepare data structures and optimize database performance for Business Intelligence tools
• Production support exposure
• Monitor System Performance
• Automation & Scripting using python, and Git

BI (Oracle, Tableau) Data Engineer – Intermediate level

1. Database Development: Design, develop, test, and implement high-performance Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Optimize complex SQL queries for maximum efficiency ( exposure to multiple Databases would be nice to have )

2. BI Support: Work closely with BI analysts to support reporting and dashboard needs, which includes preparing data structures and optimizing database performance for any Business Intelligence tool

3. Production support exposure, Monitor System Performance: Automation & Scripting using python, and Git.

4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
