This is a Management Consulting role with a strong technological foundation, working closely with clients as an advisor and transformation leader, while technical implementation is handled by Devoteam's Nearshore teams.

Must Have

• Deep understanding of modern enterprise integration technologies and methods, including API-first, event-driven architectures, and hybrid integration landscapes.
• Ability to design and establish integration architectures that connect legacy, ERP, SaaS, cloud, and AI.
• Solid experience with architecture and design within Azure Integration Services.

You will be part of a team of 10 colleagues in CIO Service. We are a specialized practice within the larger Digital Impulse team, which consists of approximately 100 management consultants. This means you will get close sparring from a specialized team, while also being part of a large professional community.

About the Role

At Devoteam, we work purposefully with API 4 AI - our concept for how organizations establish a secure, scalable, and governed API and integration foundation that enables AI initiatives in practice. Without strong integrations, clear API principles, and mature governance, AI cannot be anchored in the business.

Therefore, at Devoteam CIO Services, we are building and expanding a dedicated integration and API area. We are looking for an Integration & API Transformation Co-Lead who will have significant influence on the definition and development of the area - and who will also take part in leading complex transformation initiatives for our customers.

The role is a Management Consulting role with a strong technological foundation. You will work locally and closely with the customer as an advisor and transformation leader (Local Consulting - Global Delivery), while the majority of the technical implementation is delivered via Devoteam's Nearshore teams, which means you will also work in an international setup.

Your Responsibilities

You will be a central part of the integration task force in CIO Services, where the integration area is developed and driven collaboratively. The role combines strategic advisory, architectural leadership, and delivery management.

Your main responsibilities are to:

• Business Development: Actively contribute to defining, building, and maturing the integration and API area with API 4 AI as a central focal point.
• Strategic Direction: Set the direction for customers' integration strategy, architectural principles, standards, and go-to-market.
• Transformation Leadership: Lead integration and API transformations for customers from analysis and target state to realization.
• CIO Advisory: Advise CIOs and IT management on modern integration technologies, methods, governance, and platform choices.
• Knowledge Building: Build common methods, accelerators, and best practices for the integration area.
• Commercial Drive: Drive presales activities and secure sales of complex transformation services within Integration & API.

Your Competencies

To succeed in the role, we expect you to combine strategic overview, architectural understanding, and strong consulting competencies:

✅ Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern enterprise integration technologies and methods, including API-first, event-driven architectures, and hybrid integration landscapes.

✅ Architecture Design: Ability to design and establish integration architectures that connect legacy, ERP, SaaS, cloud, and AI.

✅ Solid experience with architecture and design within Azure Integration Services.

✅ Market Insight: Broad view of the integration market - knowledge of other integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or TIBCO is a clear advantage.

✅ Strategic Translation: Ability to translate business goals into integration principles, roadmaps, and decision-making frameworks for transformation programs.

✅ Commercial Experience: Documented experience with presales and sales of complex consulting services.
