As a project leader, you strive for optimal results for the client, inspiring and directing your team. You define project scope, approach, risks, planning, and costs, and manage the project organization, team, and suppliers. You monitor progress, provide financial guidance, and manage risks, identifying deviations and proposing solutions. Your projects are result-oriented or tactical, handling changes and coordinating with stakeholders. You actively build relationships, foster support, and communicate effectively at all levels. With a pragmatic and goal-oriented approach, you maintain a strong network, ensuring structured meetings and adequate communication.

Must Have

  • HBO/WO degree
  • Several years of relevant and successful work experience, preferably in cross-domain government projects
  • Minimum five years of successful experience in managing a project organization and project team
  • PRINCE2- and SAFE certified
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Management skills
  • Knowledge and experience of business operations, risk management, and risk analysis

Job Description

As a project leader, you strive for optimal results for the client. You use your leadership qualities to inspire, enthuse, and direct your team. You determine the scope, approach, risks, planning, and costs of the project. You also set up the project organization and manage the project team and sometimes the client's involved suppliers. During execution, you regularly coordinate with your client. You monitor progress, provide financial guidance, and manage risks. Deviations? You identify them in time and provide alternative solutions.

The projects you focus on have a strong result-oriented or tactical character, so you also handle project changes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. You actively build relationships with your stakeholders and contribute to creating support for the project. Communication at tactical, strategic, and administrative levels comes naturally to you. With your pragmatic and goal-oriented work attitude, you maintain a strong network and ensure structured work meetings and adequate (internal) communication.

Job Requirements

  • You have an HBO/WO degree and several years of relevant and successful work experience, preferably in cross-domain government projects.
  • You have at least five years of successful experience in managing a project organization and project team.
  • You are PRINCE2- and SAFE certified and have knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum.
  • You have management skills and knowledge and experience of business operations, preferably within the social domain, risk management, and risk analysis.
  • You can plan and organize, act innovatively, and are a result-oriented team player.
  • You have organizational sensitivity, networking skills, and can negotiate.
  • You can motivate employees, communicate easily at all levels, and are a true team player.
  • You get people moving.
