Monitoring & Observability Consultant - Devoteam NL

As an ELK Monitoring & Observability Engineer, you will act as an IT detective, identifying vulnerabilities, discovering hidden bugs, and predicting potential incidents. You will use Elastic AI, Search, and Assistant technologies to help clients with smart analysis, predictive insights, and automated recommendations, ensuring uninterrupted operations. You will work with the multidisciplinary Innovative Tech-team to build smart solutions with cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven search and assistant functionalities from Elastic.

Must Have

• Experience with one or more of Elastic's three pillars: Search, Security, and Observability.
• Expertise in Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent, and integrations for data collection, security, and insight.
• Ambition to grow as a consultant, combining technical expertise with advisory skills.
• Desire to actively contribute to the Elastic community through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Good to Have

• Ability to communicate insights clearly through documentation, workshops, dashboards, or demos.
• Proficiency in Dutch or willingness to learn it for client communication.

As an ELK Monitoring & Observability Engineer, you are like a detective in IT land: you identify weak spots, discover hidden bugs, and predict where incidents might arise. With Elastic AI, Search, and Assistant technologies, you help clients not only with traditional monitoring but also with smart analysis, predictive insights, and automated recommendations. This way, you ensure that clients can continue working uninterrupted, while you maintain peace and control.

Together with the multidisciplinary Innovative Tech-team (I-tech), consisting of experts in DevOps, Agile, Cloud, and Software Engineering, you build smart solutions with cutting-edge technology, including AI-driven search and assistant functionalities from Elastic.

Your activities include:

• Implementation of monitoring solutions in the Elastic Stack, including Elastic Agent, integrations, and AI-driven insights;
• Development of smart alerting, dashboards, and AI-driven recommendations for insight into IT performance;
• Advice and support for data management, security, and search-driven insights, with a focus on Search, Security, and Observability;
• Integration of Elastic Assistant and AI Search to accelerate analyses and help users make decisions faster.

Job Requirements

For this position, we are looking for all experience levels.

Must-have

• You have experience with one or more of Elastic's three pillars: Search, Security, and Observability.

Whether you are a specialist in one domain or have broader experience: you know how Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent, and integrations contribute to collecting, securing, and making data insightful. You have at least expertise in one area and the ambition to deepen or broaden your knowledge.

• You enjoy growing as a consultant – from junior to principal.

You combine technical expertise with skills such as listening, advising, presenting, and translating between technology and business. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or already experienced: you are focused on growth, collaboration, and impact.

• You want to actively contribute to our Elastic community.

As a Search, Security, or Observability specialist, you are energized by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and learning from others. Proactivity, passion, and curiosity are what we value most.

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, or you are willing to learn it.
