Baseball Operations Coordinator - South Korea

Job Summary
The Baseball Operations Coordinator in Korea will ensure excellence in Baseball operational delivery across Korean Baseball. This role serves as the primary liaison between the US headquarters and Korean baseball clients, focusing on implementing and supporting core tracking and video replay services. The coordinator will also report issues to the US Baseball leadership for quick resolutions, requiring a hands-on leader with a strong operational background and cross-regional communication and troubleshooting abilities.
Must Have
- Drive the adoption and implementation of core operational processes and procedures in Korea, ensuring they are consistent with US standards.
- Serve as a frontline resource for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues and system problems, escalating as necessary to relevant teams in the US.
- Continuously evaluate current regional processes and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and overall optimization.
- Provide feedback from the Korean Baseball Clients and KBO to the relevant US teams (product / technology / operations / implementation) to ensure the service delivery faces minimum disruption.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for external partners or vendors (e.g., data providers, local logistics companies) in the regions, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Assist the relevant US teams in the localization and successful rollout of new operational tools, technology platforms, and data collection projects within Korea.
- Take direction from the Implementation Team to ensure Day to Day HQA responsibilities across all basketball systems are handled.
- Champion cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, ensuring all operational communication and training is adapted effectively for the local teams and business environment.
- Own and maintain a centralized repository of all international operations documentation, ensuring procedures are current, clear, and easily accessible to all regional teams.
- Coordinate actions across ballparks in Korea, and ensure follow-up and resolutions and communicate both to teams and back to the US Baseball Leadership team.
- Strong leadership and time management skills.
- In-depth understanding of Baseball, rules and related terminology, and processes.
- Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and logically (in English and Korean) externally (to clients) and back to the US team.
- Ability to prioritize, address high-priority issues, and escalate to the US Baseball team.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role within operations or a sports technology.
- Proficient in using presentation tools such as Google Slides and Google Sheets.
- Schedule flexibility, including weekends, late nights, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel on-site within Korea support and installations for our existing and new Baseball clients.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
