Job Summary
We’re partnering with a leading industry company to find a talented Operations Manager to support a creative marketing agency specializing in gaming and culture. This remote role offers the opportunity to stabilize and optimize operations during a temporary period of less than one month, with a focus on ensuring smooth daily functions and strategic oversight while the organization recruits for a permanent Operations Director.
Must Have
- Collaborate with finance teams to track forecasts, margins, and utilization.
- Oversee daily operations across client services, creative, strategy, production, and finance.
- Manage vendor onboarding, invoice processing, freelancer payroll, and project budget support.
- Develop and implement straightforward, scalable processes aligned with leadership priorities.
- Handle agency capacity planning, staffing models, and contractor utilization.
- 7–10+ years of operational leadership within a creative, marketing, or production agency.
- Demonstrated expertise in resourcing, forecasting, budgeting, and utilization management.
- Strong familiarity with agency workflows from project pitch to delivery and wrap-up.
- Ability to work part-time while maintaining a senior-level focus and decision-making capacity.
- Calm, decisive, and direct communication style capable of managing ambiguity independently.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance teams to track forecasts, margins, and utilization, identifying risks early and suggesting corrective actions to improve profitability.
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments including client services, creative, strategy, production, and finance.
- Manage vendor onboarding, invoice processing, freelancer payroll, and project budget support to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Develop and implement straightforward, scalable processes aligned with leadership priorities, addressing friction points swiftly.
- Handle agency capacity planning, staffing models, and contractor utilization, partnering with team leads to forecast resourcing needs and prevent burnout.
Operations Manager Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of operational leadership within a creative, marketing, or production agency.
- Demonstrated expertise in resourcing, forecasting, budgeting, and utilization management.
- Strong familiarity with agency workflows from project pitch to delivery and wrap-up.
- Ability to work part-time while maintaining a senior-level focus and decision-making capacity.
- Calm, decisive, and direct communication style capable of managing ambiguity independently.
