Job Summary

The Client Onboarding & Operations Specialist supports EU-based clients from initial onboarding to long-term retention, ensuring full compliance with CySEC regulatory requirements. This role involves daily application reviews, processing various account types, proactive client follow-up for documentation, and investigating system alerts. The specialist acts as a primary client contact, manages inquiries and complaints, supports audits, and contributes to client conversion and retention, all while maintaining high operational and risk management standards.

Must Have

  • Conduct daily reviews and verification of onboarding applications to meet CySEC regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Process sub-account, corporate, and professional account applications.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to complete onboarding requirements.
  • Analyse and investigate alerts generated by internal systems.
  • Promote high standards of KYC, EDD, and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering timely, accurate, and professional support.
  • Manage, respond to, and follow up on client and prospective client inquiries or complaints.
  • Support internal and external audit reviews by providing required documentation.
  • Contribute to business success by driving client conversion rates and supporting client retention.
  • Proficiency in Polish and English.
  • CySEC AML Certificate required.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, EDD, AML frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-centric and professional approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyse alerts, identify risks, and follow established compliance procedures.

The Client Onboarding & Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting EU-based clients throughout their lifecycle—from initial onboarding to ongoing support and long-term retention. This role ensures full compliance with CySEC regulatory requirements while delivering a high-quality client experience and maintaining strong operational and risk management standards.

Your EDGE assignment / You will:

  • Conduct daily reviews and verification of onboarding applications to ensure all client information, documentation, and declarations meet CySEC regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Process sub-account, corporate, and professional account applications, ensuring accurate submission of all required documentation, eligibility criteria, and supporting evidence.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to complete onboarding requirements, collecting missing documentation and information to ensure timely account activation.
  • Analyse and investigate alerts generated by internal systems, following established policies, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory obligations.
  • Promote high standards of KYC, EDD, and regulatory compliance, contributing to a strong risk-aware and compliance-focused culture.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering timely, accurate, and professional support for inquiries, concerns, and operational requests.
  • Manage, respond to, and follow up on client and prospective client inquiries or complaints in line with internal policies and departmental SOPs.
  • Support internal and external audit reviews by providing required documentation, reports, and clarifications in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to business success by driving client conversion rates and supporting the effective retention of active clients.

Are you the one?

  • Proficiency in Polish and English; additional European languages are an advantage.

Previous experience in client onboarding, client operations, compliance, or a similar role within financial services, fintech, or investment firms.

  • CySEC AML Certificate required.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, EDD, AML frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience handling corporate, professional, or complex account structures.
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-centric and professional approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple onboarding cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyse alerts, identify risks, and follow established compliance procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
