Job Summary
Axi is seeking a KDB Developer to enhance analytics and reporting tools, involved in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to maintenance. The role includes building modules in kdb/q and Python, developing post-trade and real-time analytics, and creating performance monitoring tools. The developer will also assist in gathering technical requirements, writing clean code, supporting production issues, and participating in code reviews and design discussions.
Must Have
- Strong hands-on experience with kdb+/q or financial data using Python
- Development experience in Trading, market data, trade/financial data
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments and scripting languages
- Experience with agile methodology and tools such as Git, Jira, CI
- Building modules and new functionalities in kdb/q and Python
- Building post-trade, real-time analytics, and reports
- Building tools for monitoring of performance
- Assisting in gathering and clarifying technical requirements
- Writing clean, well-documented, and tested code
- Supporting the investigation and resolution of production issues

The role will develop and enhance our analytics and reporting tools and will be involved in all phases of our software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, construction, deployment, and maintenance. The KDB developer will research, coordinate and resolve production support issues by interacting closely with product owners and the business.
Your EDGE Assignment/You Will
- Building modules and new functionalities in kdb/q and python.

- Assisting in gathering and clarifying technical requirements by working closely with product owners and business analysts.
