Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Workday Integration Developer to administer HR systems, including business process configuration, reporting, and data management. This role focuses on maintaining Workday as a best-in-class employee experience platform, partnering with HR, IT, and business leaders. Key modules include Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, Benefits, Integrations, and Reporting. The developer will design, test, and deploy Workday integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.

Must Have

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations (Core Connectors, EIBs, Studio, Cloud Connect).
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations.
  • Develop integration documentation.
  • Implement Workday security and compliance protocols.
  • Monitor and resolve integration issues, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing.
  • Stay updated on Workday integration best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience developing integrations in Workday HCM.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with Workday security and access controls.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Workday Integration Certification (e.g., Workday HCM Integrations).

Our challenge

We are looking for The Workday Integration Developer that provides HR system administration, including business process configuration, reporting development, end user training, and data management in support of maintaining Workday as a best-in-class employee experience forward platform. This role will partner with the other Workday team members, IT, business partners, vendors and business leaders to effectively meet the HR technology needs of the organization. The focus modules are Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Payroll, Time, Absence, Benefits, Integrations, and Reporting.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations (including Core Connectors, EIBs, Studio, and Cloud Connect).
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements for integration needs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Develop integration documentation, including technical specs, process flows, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Implement Workday security and compliance protocols for integrations.
  • Monitor and resolve integration issues promptly, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing associated with integrations.
  • Stay updated on Workday integration best practices and incorporate them into solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience developing integrations in Workday HCM.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with Workday security and access controls.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
