C++ Developer

Join Veeam as a C++ Developer to enhance Veeam Backup and Replication, focusing on data protection and business resilience. Responsibilities include optimizing existing functionalities, performing performance analysis, diagnosing and fixing bugs, and implementing network protocols between system components. This role requires strong C++ and STL knowledge, experience with multithreaded applications, and English proficiency.

Must Have

• Optimize and finalize current functionalities of the VBR product (application-aware processing, DB plugins)
• Carry out performance analysis and profiling
• Run diagnostics and bug fixes, including log analysis and process dumps
• Implement network protocols between system components
• 3+ years of experience with commercial development
• Strong knowledge of C++ and the STL
• Experience in developing multithreaded applications
• Knowledge of algorithms (data storage structure)
• English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams

Good to Have

• Knowledge of the Windows platform; experience with the WinAPI
• Experience developing on the Linux platform or a willingness to learn
• Network programming
• Knowledge of C#
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server
