Data Scientist (AI/ML/AWS)

Exusia, a cutting-edge digital transformation company, seeks a Data Scientist (AI/ML/AWS) to join our global delivery team's Data Engineering & Analytics practice in India. This role focuses on delivering best-of-breed solutions to clients leveraging Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning tools and techniques. The candidate will also contribute to competency development and drive innovation through internal initiatives, requiring over 5 years of experience with broad exposure to Data Engineering, Data Mining, Business Intelligence & Machine learning.

Must Have

• Work on client projects to deliver Data insights using AI, ML and Advanced analytics techniques
• Architect, Build & Deploy scalable Machine Learning models both on premise & on cloud platforms
• Work with business stakeholders to Identify problem statement and appropriate solutions
• Work closely with data engineering teams to source and ingest data into data lakes
• Propose solutions to translate semi-structured and unstructured data into structured format
• Collaborate with S & D leadership to propose and execute ML POCs
• Providing mentorship to junior resources within the data scientist community
• Experience with Transformers, RNN (LSTM/Bi-LSTM)
• Knowledge of Machine Learning basics like Linear and Logistic Regression / Random forests
• Understanding of ML /NLP metrics (Precision/RecallF1 score)
• Hyper Parameter tuning, model training / selection
• Experience with OOps Python, Type hinting, API Frameworks like Flaks / Fast APi
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with RAG (retrieval and reranking), indexing algorithms (Flat / HSNW), LLM based Embedding Models
• LLM Parameter tuning experience, different prompt engg techniques
• Experience with Different use-cases (Multiclass /MultiLabel classification) in NLP
• Experience in Transformers architecture, attention and implementation of transformers
• Working Understanding of Embeddings (Word2Vec / Encoder based EMbeddings)
• Experience with different cost function / Optimization algorithms in Deep Learning
• AWS: Sagemaker / ECS / S3 / Lambda

Good to Have

• Exposure to Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platforms with hands on exposure to ML service offerings
• Experience working with teams located in multiple locations across the globe
• Agile development experience & collaborating with data engineering teams
• Familiarity with Spark, Scala and distributed data processing platforms

What’s the Role?

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Work on client projects to deliver Data insights using AI, ML and Advanced analytics techniques
• Architect, Build & Deploy scalable Machine Learning models both on premise & on cloud platforms

• Look at semi structured and unstructured data and propose solutions to translate them into structured data format to provide better insights
• Collaborate with S & D leadership to propose and execute ML POCs to deliver quick wins for the clients
• Providing mentorship to junior resources within the data scientist community

Mandatory Skills:

Machine Learning Generics: 4 (CRITICAL)

• Candidate should have used or work on:
• Transformers
• RNN (LSTM/Bi-LSTM)

• Candidate should have knowledge on Machine Learning basics like Linear and Logistic Regression / Random forests

• Understanding of ML /NLP metrics like (Precision/RecallF1 score)

Python: 4 (CRITICAL)

• Experience with OOps Python

• Experience of different prompt engg techniques

Artificial Intelligence: 3 (Nice to have)

• Experience with Different use-cases (Multiclass /MultiLabel classification) in NLP is Important.

• Experience in Transformers architecture is Important.

• Working Understanding of attention and implementation of transformers. Working Understanding of Embeddings ( Word2Vec / Encoder based EMbeddings) is a must.

• Experience with different cost function / Optimization algorithms in Deep Learning.

Cloud Providers Aws (Plus):
